CBS - Health Costing Experts is excited to announce its expansion into the Middle East after signing a contract with the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

SEHA, the largest healthcare network in the UAE, manages the public health sector of Abu Dhabi and has engaged CBS to implement their clinical costing and business intelligence software CostPro and IntelPlus across all of SEHA’s facilities.

The partnership will enable SEHA to determine the cost, revenue and margin of patients on a real time basis across all its operations.

Our engagement with CBS forms a key pillar of our current transformation projects” says George Kapitelli, the Group Chief Financial Officer of SEHA. “We chose CBS because of the clear superiority of their systems, that automate many of the manual and time-consuming functions traditionally associated with clinical costing. CBS’ systems will be a key driver of efficiency across our public health services and will also enable us to advocate for a more sustainable health funding system within Abu Dhabi. We are very happy to be working with them.”

CBS is the leading provider of clinical costing and business intelligence services to Health Boards in New Zealand and has enjoyed steady growth over the past few years by gaining clients across the public and private hospital sectors within Australia.

While CBS’ growth trajectory has been solid, Chief Executive Ross Wilson believes the contract with SEHA will allow his company to move to another level:

“This opportunity with SEHA will enable us to invest more development time into our products to help our clients even more, and it will create new jobs within our Hamilton software development team. It will also provide a great launching pad into other countries within the Middle East region and elsewhere. Ultimately, our goal is to be a global leader in the provision of clinical costing and business intelligence services to healthcare providers, and this contract is a key step in our ability to reach that goal.”
